Install Continuum
Keep your current theme safe and start with an unpublished copy.
Before you upload
Keep your purchase files somewhere safe. If you received a delivery bundle, extract it first. Upload only continuum-0.7.4-theme.zip, the inner theme ZIP.
Your Shopify store needs the Online Store channel and a plan that supports custom themes. Products, menus, apps and payment accounts are managed in your own store.
Upload as a draft
- In Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes. Duplicate your current theme as a backup.
- Choose Add theme → Upload zip file and select the theme ZIP.
- Find Continuum in your theme library and open Customize / Edit theme. Keep it unpublished while you set it up.
Uploading a theme does not replace your current live storefront until you publish it.
Preview before publishing
Use Preview to inspect your own products, menus and pages. Check an available product, a sold-out product and several product options. Keep your previous theme available so you can publish it again if you need to revert.
